The parishioners of this community had a small chapel over 45 years old, poorly constructed without doors or windows. The M.A.N. Foundation assisted in the construction of their new church, which is capable of seating 2,000 people.

The Catholics in this impoverished area attended Mass in a church constructed from an old shipping container. The M.A.N. Foundation provided funds to refurbish the church, improving the facility for these needy people.

Fr. Joseph wrote to the M.A.N. Foundation requesting financial assistance to replace the poorly constructed mud and straw church then being used by 430 parishioners. The M.A.N. Foundation responded by building a church suitable to celebrate the religious activities of the people of the area who exist on farming.

Fr. Lang Tran appealed to the M.A.N. Foundation to construct a new church to replace their poorly constructed chapel, now leaking and threatening collapse, to facilitate the needs of his 500 parishioners.

St. Joseph Church Hanh Tri Parish, Nha Trang Diocese - Vietnam

This parish has more than 3,000 parishioners. Their poorly constructed chapel, over 30 years old, held only 200 parishioners. The remaining parishioners were forced to attend Mass outside the building. M.A.N. completed the construction of the new church, accommodating all.

This new building, presently under construction, will replace the tiny church, which is now eroding from the tropical climate and presently able to accommodate only one-half of the parishioners. These people live only on their own agriculture, which often fails through natural disasters. M.A.N. Foundation is contributing to the construction of their new and larger church.

St. Joseph Church, Phuoc An Parish, Phan Thiet Diocese, S. Vietnam -- Bell Tower

This church, already constructed, was badly in need of a bell tower to summon the farmers and field workers, as well as their families, to daily Mass and other church activities. A permit was given, but unless it was used before the date intended, another permit would have to be applied for with no guarantee of receiving it. The M.A.N. Foundation received the plea of Fr. Huong Ho and built the Bell Tower through the generosity of its members.

Vietnamese Martyrs Church, Nha Trang Diocese, S. Vietnam

This area of Vietnam is exceptionally poor; the people work in sugar cane and rice fields. Their chapel, too small and eroding badly, was being used for only 200 parishioners at one time. A new church, under construction and in need of assistance for completion, was made known to the M.A.N. Foundation through the request of Fr. Ba-Ninh. This new church now accommodates 2,500 parishioners.

This 1883 Church was refurbished by the M.A.N. Foundation in 2001. Previously able to hold only 130 families, it now accommodates 600 parishioners.

Mother of Perpetual Help Church, Phuoc An Parish, Nha Trang Diocese, Vietnam
Rev. Joseph Phuc-Tinh Truong, Pastor
Fr. Phuc-Tinh appealed to the M.A.N. Foundation to help him to complete his new Church, already under construction. He had run out of funds and was unable to afford doors, windows or pavement leading to the Church itself. The M.A.N. Foundation, through the generosity of its members, was able to help complete the construction.

This structure, originally a house, was repaired in 1994 and used as a church. The house was "low, hot and narrow" and unable to accommodate more than a few parishioners at a time. Fr. John Co Nguyen appealed for assistance to tear down this structure and construct a new church The M.A.N. Foundation answered his appeal and is now assisting in the construction.

Rosa Mystica House of Prayer, Edmeston, New York
M.A.N. supports the revitalization of Catholicism with its Rosa Mystica Retreat Center in Edmeston, New York. This Marion Retreat and Spirituality Center is being refurbished to provide a retreat center to renew the faith of priests, nuns, and laity alike.

Donation to the building fund for the construction of a new Church. The existing Church was unsafe and services were being held in the school auditorium.

St. Theresa Statue
St. Francis Church, Tac Say Parish, Can Tho Diocese Vietnam
This is an active parish with a deep devotion to St. Theresa. In 1999, the M.A.N. Foundation provided a grotto and statue of St. Theresa to be placed outside the church near the tomb of Fr. Francis Truong Buu Diep for the prayerful intercession of St. Theresa to Our Lord. Many wonderful happenings have taken place at this site.
